Unmaintained and Deprecated Software

I have written many pieces of software over the years. Since the software that I write is all free software, I try to foster a community around my software by responding to bug reports and helping people if they have trouble. Sometimes when I stop using the software in question, this becomes too much work for me. In these cases, I deprecate my software.

The software listed on this page is deprecated. This does not mean that you should not use it. It does mean that I will not be able to take time to respond to problems you might have with it. If you like the software and think it would be good to have someone maintain it in the future, you should consider being that person. Simply get in contact with me and we can discuss a transfer of responsibilities.
